  • Wednesday evening Zoom calls, including Fiddle Practice, a Technical Nugget and learning a tune on Zoom (the Live Teaching call)
  • Three in-depth Video Tutorials (one new tune each from both Melissa and Stewart, plus a revision tune from the NEFS back catalogue)
  • Each Video Tutorial includes technique, a tune taught by the phrase and a detailed look at bowing, ornamentation or stylistic interpretation.

This block runs from Weds 7th June – Weds 5th July, including an optional Social Play-along on Weds 12th July.

There is also an NEFS Summer Workshop Weekend including a full-day fiddle workshop in-person on Saturday 8th July in Wylam and a full-day fiddle ensemble day on Sunday 9th July in Riding Mill. There will also be an informal concert on Saturday evening in Riding Mill, featuring Stewart Hardy & Frank McLaughlin (donations encouraged). All events are available individually or in any combination – select the appropriate product.
