If you would like the chance to explore how to do this – how to play harmony lines\, how to begin creating your own\, how to accompany other players – then this is the workshop for you. Grace and Stewart will be teaching us tunes\, and will bring suggestions for harmonies\, as well as giving the chance to explore other ideas to create a wonderfully rich fiddle sound. DESCRIPTION:2024 Block 1 Online \n\n5 week course of fully-online fiddle tuition\, accessible on Zoom and YouTube from anywhere and at any time with Stewart Hardy and Grace Smith.\nThree in-depth sets of Video Tutorials from Stewart Hardy and Kevin Lees\, each of which includes elements of technique\, a tune taught by the phrase and a detailed look at bowing\, ornamentation or stylistic interpretation.\nWednesday evening live Zoom calls\, including Fiddle Practice and Tune Learning in the Zoom workshop\, plus playing through previous tunes which form our core repertoire.\nRecordings of all Zoom calls available for catch-up on demand.\n\nCost £71 for lifetime access to materials. \n2024 Block 1 Online will run from Wednesday 17th January to 14th February. \nBook the In-person Saturday Workshop for 2024 Block 1 in addition and receive a discount. \n Please email or use the contact form for with any queries.
