- In-person tuition focusing on developing fiddle technique and learning tunes
- Tuition provided by Stewart Hardy and Grace Smith
- In-depth fiddle teaching aimed at competent beginner to advanced adult folk fiddle players
- 3 mixed ability workshops, learning tunes and fiddle techniques, exploring jig dance grooves and with time for a tutor-guided session
- Full access to the Live Tunes web page for session resources
Tea and coffee are provided in the breaks, but lunch is not included. Please bring a packed lunch, or there are places available to buy lunch in Riding Mill.

There is a Sunday Workshop on the following day (Sunday 5th July) as part of the NEFS SWW 2026, looking at Ways into Creativity in Folk Fiddle. A £5 discount is applied in your basket if you buy both days.
There will also be a concert from Bottle Bank Band on Saturday evening at 7.30 pm, followed by a music session for all. Free entry, but donations to cover the event will be gratefully received.
The workshop will be run with an awareness of the current COVID-19 situation. By attending an in-person event organised by NEFS, you agree to follow the guidelines, and any further reasonable requests made by the venue, the Tutors or Directors, to keep the group safe and all attendees feeling as comfortable as possible.
